Which items are eligible for Amazon Prime?

Eligible items will be designated in the search result pages, item detail pages, at check out, as well as on the order confirmation page. Generally, most items eligible for Super Saver Delivery are also eligible for Amazon Prime delivery benefits. The program is limited to items sold by Amazon.co.uk (or by third party merchants participating in the Fulfillment by Amazon program on the Amazon.co.uk Website). Gift certificates are not eligible for expedited delivery under Amazon Prime. Some items are excluded, including, for example, oversize or heavy items, items regulated as hazardous materials, and other items with special delivery characteristics. Items sold by third parties such as Marketplace, are NOT eligible unless otherwise stated. When an order is placed for a product that is not eligible for Amazon Prime, a delivery fee will be charged separately, and the total delivery fee should be confirmed on the Order Confirmation page.

What addresses are eligible for Amazon Prime?

Amazon Prime members are entitled to free One-Day delivery on all items marked as Amazon Prime eligible delivered to Mainland United Kingdom Locations and free First Class delivery on all items marked as Amazon Prime eligible delivered to all Other United Kingdom Locations (portions of Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Isles (including Shetlands, Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey), Cornwall, Northumberland, PO Boxes and BFPO addresses). Discounted Express and Evening delivery applies to those eligible items that are shipped to the eligible addresses as specified in those delivery options, and respective terms and conditions. Amazon Prime members are also entitled to free First Class delivery for all products marked as Amazon Prime eligible on Amazon.co.uk Website's third party platform sold by Amazon.co.uk's Preferred Merchant, Indigostarfish.com that are shipped to either mainland United Kingdom locations or Other United Kingdom Locations. Amazon.co.uk will fund the actual delivery costs associated with your orders with Indigostarfish.com and will reimburse Indigostarfish.com directly on your behalf. See the "Eligible Purchases" section of the Amazon Prime Terms and Conditions for full eligibility rules.

How do I share Amazon Prime with members of my household?

Inviting family members to share your Amazon Prime membership as registered guests is easy. Simply log into Your Account and click on the link "Prime Settings". There you will see a list of the status of all registered guests linked to your Amazon Prime membership, and options to add or remove registered guests.

What is the difference between Express delivery and free One-Day delivery?

Express delivery provides customers guaranteed delivery before 1pm after dispatch for £8.99 per delivery. An Amazon Prime membership, for one annual charge of £49, gives members the Express delivery option at a member exclusive price of £4.49 per item. Free One-Day delivery is a new delivery option, available only to Amazon Prime members, at no additional cost. One-Day delivery is unlimited for members.

What else should I know about Amazon Prime?

Can I cancel my membership to Amazon Prime?

You can cancel your membership in
Your Account at any time before you or your registered guests have made any eligible purchases and we will refund your full membership fee. To do this, visit the "Prime Settings" link of Your Account and click the "Cancel membership" button. It can take up to two days for completing this process. For any trial or other promotional memberships you may cancel such membership at any time by clicking "Prime Settings" in Your Account and selecting the "Do not upgrade" button.

Does my membership renew automatically?

Yes, your membership is set up to automatically renew annually. You can use Your Account to choose not to renew or to update your preferred payment method for membership renewals. If the preferred method is unavailable (for example, a credit card has expired), for your convenience we will use another payment method we have on record for you. Your initial sign-up is an authorisation for us to use the preferred or other available payment methods.

Is a promotional trial membership different from full membership?

We sometimes offer various trial or other promotional memberships.  Trial or other promotional memberships can be cancelled at any time by visiting the "Prime Settings" section of Your Account and choosing not to upgrade to regular annual membership at the end of the trial period by selecting the "Do not upgrade" button. The Amazon Prime Terms & Conditions apply to these memberships except as otherwise stated in the trial or other promotional offers.

Can I order using 1-Click?

Amazon Prime works best when you use 1-Click Shopping. Amazon Prime members see a special ordering stripe at the top of product detail pages. Most of the time, you'll see two members-only 1-Click buttons in the stripe: one button instantly orders the item with free One-Day delivery, and the other button orders the item with Express delivery (get your order before 1pm) for just £4.49 per item. And, if you are in London and Birmingham you will see a third one that will order the item with Evening delivery.

To get the most out of Amazon Prime and 1-Click, please check your 1-Click settings:

Can I shop without using 1-Click?

If you prefer to use the shopping basket instead of 1-Click, simply place items in your shopping basket and proceed to checkout as usual. On the order summary page, you will see:
